My Life So far..

I realised that sometimes when I blog, I may have unintentionally hurt some people’s feelings.  I can only say…

Well, screw that! My blog is for me & for the people who actually care enough to find out if I’m coping well with life! Boo!

Anyways, it’s the October holidays & life in Shanghai can be described as a real challenge. 

I have to cope with the language barrier (on top of Putonghua, they have Shanghai hua as well!?!), the overly friendly staff who actually are only friendly because I am a "wai jiao" from Singapore & if I get pissy enough, they won’t have one anymore & will have to deal with the countless complaints from students,parents etc.  How do I know this? Well, they’ve been told that I don’t really know Chinese(I just didn’t correct them!Hehehe!) so they have been speaking pretty freely in front of me so I KNOW! were kinda complaining cause I kept giving them work to do.  Then there are the usual "I want to learn but you’re not white so you don’t know shit!" students..sigh..

I remember that I’m not supposed to socialise with the students outside of class..then who do I socialise with over here in Fengxian district?

Sigh..Anyways..I have to thank the countless people who have endured my constant calls to them..Hey gus, thanks for providing the "entertainment" for me especially when my baby lappie is down.  Thank Kayu!

Oh,also..dad is coming down to Shanghai in about a week’s time so I’m happy about that.  It just gives me reason to travel all the way into town!  I also know that he’ll bring some goodies that are essential to me surviving Shanghai(CHILLI PADI!!)

I haven’t been updating lately cos too many things have been happening to me.

Let’s just update you on the important stuff first:

1) I’m leaving for Shanghai this weekend so wish me all the best.  Hopefully I don’t fuck this up bad.^_^

2) I have decided that I should NEVER, EVER plan anything.  Everytime I do, it ends up not working out so..no more!

3) I have come to the conclusion that I am definitely in trouble in a certain matter & I really have no clue on what the next best action should be.  I have received plenty of advise & most of it points to what I want to do.  But is it really the best thing to do?

4) I will be missing Hari Raya yet again this year.  A warning..

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT SEND ME TAKBIR RAYA!( Yes, this is for YOU! You know who you are so bugger off)  I’m sooo gonna be real pissed if you persist in sending me any Hari Raya related songs!! Biarch!!

So anyways, until I get settled in, I’m gonna miss you guys. 

I’ve "messed" Beijing up when I worked there…Let’s see what I can do to Shanghai!! Bwahahaha!!
