What is it about all these highly educated people who insist on doing this? Does it give them satisfaction seeing the discomfort they caused?
Maybe I think too much, maybe it’s nothing but I can’t help it. This is the way I am.

I went for a late night drive with Wik earlier. It was just like old times. I can’t sleep? Call Wik & we’ll just drive around the island with no specific destination.
Tonight, we drove to Mandai. There’s this one spot that is along the road leading towards the Night Safari & on most nights, it’s beautiful(except for the mosquitoes..ouch). So we parked and just started to catch up on stuff. He’s been busy with work & some other "projects" which he said shall remain nameless..typical of him.
Anyways, why do I like coming here? It’s mainly because of the sky. Just looking up at the sky had always been able to calm me..I don’t know why exactly but it just does.
I can’t believe that I’m staying up for work. How much dumber can I get?
I’ve been wearing colours since I’ve been back. Helps in cheering me up. Some friends think it’s not me. I think it’s just a phase that I need to go through.
Anyways, went for a haircut today. I had no idea what to do so I did the usual..Let my aunt decide! So she settled on some higlights for my hair. Don’t think it turned out the way she wanted but still, it’s done.
P.S: At least 10 snide comments about my size. Don’t you just love family….
Anyways, after voting, I met up with Gelina for a couple of hours & did some shopping as well.
We met up in Parkway Parade & man, that place is buzzing with people now. I love the fact that they have Starbucks, Gelare, Fish & Co, Mc Cafe all within walking distance! Awesome!
To end the night off, we had….Chocolate Chip Waffles!! Plus Cookies & Cream ice cream..sigh, that made me feel better for a bit. See, some girlfriends really know how to make me feel better. Thanks Gelina. Luv ya girl!
Life is almost back to normal.
Long working hours, endless stress, mindless colleagues. This is what I’ve been facing the last 2 weeks. I predicted before I came back that it was not going to be easy for me to adjust myself to work back here. I was right.
To date, I have yet to get a full night’s rest. And contrary to popular belief, I hate the fact that I’m late to work because of it. I want to be able to just get through this. It sucks though because I’m being judged by so many people because of this.
All the X people would know of how messed up the company is. The constant changes, the high turnover rate of workers, the lack of appreciation shown towards us, the "small people". At this rate, I wonder how many people would actually stay on in this company not because of monetary reason but just because they want to.
